The iNtombi Workshop is a grassroots organisation focused on arts education and practical skills development at Marian RC Girls High School.

Our programme utilises the workshop technique to explore various disciplines within the arts including but not limited to performance and visual art. Our workshops take place on a weekly basis and are structured around skills development with a strong focus on the personal narratives of the young people involved. Each workshop is led by capable, experienced and accomplished young female artists from South Africa.

The iNtombi Workshop is committed to the empowerment of young women, particularly young women of colour in disenfranchised communities. The twelve students in our programme come from Delft, Elsies River, Gugulethu, Khayelitsha and Philliphi.

Our goal for 2014 is to put on a performance and exhibition, to display the art produced and workshopped by our students through out the year.
